President of Egypt Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi has confirmed that Yemen still suffer from Houthi group and their attempts of bullying with foreign support for imposing their agenda on all Yemeni people and their denounced attacks on Saudi territories.
In a speech he delivered in the Islamic Summit concluded activities on Saturday, he pointed to difficult situations suffered by Yemen, Libya, Sudan and Algeria and that there are huge challenges require political support and cooperation from all member countries in Islamic Organization for Cooperation to these brother countries and facing foreign interferences.
"The Republic of Egypt will save no effort for supporting and boosting IOC's activities as prime umbrella for joint Islamic activities and Egypt is keen on proceeding with active participation in different initiatives of the organization," said al-Assisi.
"With this unity, we will not face unprecedented wave of instability and political and security tensions sweeping our Islamic world and threatening its countries and institutions," he added.
Talking about terrorism, al-Sisi said all Islamic countries have to reactivate international and regional frameworks for eradicating terrorism and combating extremism.
