Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed with UK Ambassador to Yemen Michael Aron on Wednesday latest developments in Yemen and boosting mutual relations between the two countries.
Vice President pointed to a number of significant issues and topics topped by Hodeida agreement, which the government showed flexibility for implementing it but faced by Houthis' stubbornness, escalation and mobilization for waging new round of war in the province.
He confirmed that the government- with support of the Saudi led Coalition- launched defending war against rebels, who carried out a coup against basic references, sought to harm the security and stability of Yemen and targeted neighbors and international marine navigation.
Vice President reviewed a number of Houthi crimes; killing, kidnapping and terrifying Yemeni people and making them starving, calling the international community for exerting more pressure for implementing international resolutions.
He re-affirmed keenness of the government on realizing peace and supporting UN envoy's efforts for realizing peace based on the three references; the GCC Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
For his part, UK Ambassador confirmed his country's support to legality and keenness on realizing peace and stability and contribution in alleviating suffering of the Yemeni people.
