Army Spokesperson confirms arresting terrorist elements in Hadhramout

The Spokesperson of the Military Forces General AbdoMujalli has confirmed arresting dangerous terrorist elements in the Valley of Hadhramout after successful military operation carried out before yesterday-Monday- by military forces from the first military zone with support from Arab Coalition.

The military operation came after critical and concrete intelligence led to storming a house containing elements from al-Qaeda Network in Mankhar area, Qatan District here, Mujalli made it clear in a statement to Saba on Wednesday.

The military forces found in the terrorists' hideout shells, explosive devices, klashnikovs, snipers, remote explosive materials, electronic appliance and a camera used by the terrorists to document their operations, he added.

He further said the elements were arrested and their materials were seized in preparations for probes by concerned bodies and referring them to justice, pointing out that these operations came within a series of successful operations carried out by the first military zone and other units in implementation to President Hadi's directives with support from the Coalition.

The spokesperson praised efforts and sacrifices of the national army's heroes in different battlefields for regaining the legality and combating Houthi coup and terrorists simultaneously as two faces for one coin threatening Yemen and the whole region.
