High Council of Arabian Gulf Countries has affirmed their standing alongside the Yemeni government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to help the Yemeni people until restoring the Yemeni State.
Final communiqué issued by the High Council in its (39)round which concluded its sessions Sunday evening in Saudi capital Riyadh reiterated the principled stances and resolutions of the GCC about the crisis in the Republic of Yemen, stressing the importance of reaching political solution to the crisis in accordance with the terms of reference including the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216.
High Council express support for the efforts have been made by the UN Secretary General special envoy Martin Griffiths 's to find a political solution to the dilemma.
The Council applauded the UN's report about Iran's violation of the embargo imposed by the UN on dispatching weapons to Yemen and providing Hourhis with drones and ballistic missiles fired against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), these weapons entered Yemen following the ban on weapons to Yemen imposed in 2015, in flagrant violation of the resolution 2216.
The Council has confirmed the continuation of support to development projects in the Republic of Yemen which worth exceeded ($5.11) billion.
