Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh affirmed the commitment of the government to the principles of human rights in regards to guarding civilians against hazards and alleviating the suffering triggered by the Houthi war.

In a meeting with the National Commission of Enquiry into human rights abuse claims, Ali Mohsen and the Commission members discussed the role that the government agencies can play in facilitating the Commission's mission .

He emphasized the magnitude of the Houthi crimes against the Yemeni nation, citing their overthrow of the state, looting of the public rights and resources, bombing of houses and places of worship and the abduction of journalists, jurists, politicians and ordinary people.

He praised the role played by the Commission in following up and documenting human rights violations in an objective manner.
