Houthishave looted a humanitarian and food aid convoy en route to beneficiaries in the district of Durayhmi in Hodeidah province.
The Iran affiliate militia looted the convoy, provided by the Emirati Red Crescent (ERC), to boost its "War Effort" fund that sustains their war against the government and pro-government civilians.
The militia consistently cuthumanitarian aid supplies and rather confiscate them for the benefit of their fighters,a practice that has put Yemenis on the brink of famine.
The ERC said their aidincluded basic commodities that would haealleviatedthe suffering of many people in Durayhmiand a neighboring village from al-Hawk district in Hodeidah.
Earlier, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition deliveredERC-provided assistance to the people of Hodeidah via airdrops.
