Houthi putschist militia has kidnapped, the journalist of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Abdulsalam Addoais on Tuesday. The militiamen abducted Addoais from a relative's house, located in Shamal quarter of the capital Sana'a. They moved him to unknown place following days of clampdown for unknown reasons.
According (Saba)'s sources five armed men boarding Suzuki car arrived to the house where Addoais was exiting, abducting him, confiscating his mobile phone, Laptop and moving him to unknown location, without mentioning the reasons.
The Yemeni News Agency (Saba) held the Houthi putschist militia fully responsible for the safety of the journalist Addoais. Thereby, (Saba) is calling on the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate (YJS), International Federation of Journalists to pressure the militia to release him, provide him with health care he needs and ensure his safety.
For its own part, the (YJS) has held the Houthi militia accountable for the journalist Addoai's life, demanding an immediate revealing his fate and releasing.
Addoais worked for several years as an editor of economic news in the (Saba), then moved to act as Media General Director in the Premiership Office. He held the post from 2010 until Houthi militia's coup by the end of 2014.
