Minister of Local Administeration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulraqeeb Fatah has made clear that political leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and legitimate government have been committed to comply with International and Humanitarian Laws, and to ensure protection of civilians in all Yemeni provinces including Hodeida as well as to secure delivery of humanitarian aids to all regions.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Fatah stated that Houthi putschist militia has been killing civilians and shelling residential areas with different weapons in all provinces, it has committed repeatedly war crimes against civilians.

" Hodeida retake operation aims to save more than 4 million civilians from the militia's terror and besiege imposed upon the province for above three years", he said.

The Minister said" International community ought to support the legitimate government and Arab Coalition in order to wrest back Hodeida harbor from the rebellious militia that has been using the port to military purposes, smuggle missiles and weapons, obstruct humanitarian and relief aids in breaching of International and Humanitarian Laws".

Fatah added saying:" Since it has taken over the seaport Houthi militia embarked on obstructing and looting 84 relief, commercial and oil ships, it bombarded 5 relief and commercial ships , prevented unloading more than 84326 tons of petrol, 11.979 tons of diesel in the seaport, shelled 4 storages of the World Food Program, destroying over 5000 tons of aids".
