Yemen's ambassador to Khartoum Omer Al-Modawe met Sunday with the Assistant of the President of Republic of Sudan, Ebrahim Assanosy.
Aspects of mutual cooperation between the two countries were key focus of Al-Modawe's conversation with Assanosy.
The ambassador detailed the aide of the President on the latest developments in Yemen. He made clear that the government is keen on re-establishing peace on the three terms of reference including the GCC's brokered-deal, its action plan, outcomes of the National Dialogue and International Security Council's resolution, mainly 2216.
Al-Modawe praised the Sudanese principled position toward Yemen, highly appreciating Sudan's support to Yemen and its contribution to Arab Coalition for reinstating legality in Yemen.
