TAIZ-SABA

Residents of Taiz Governorate on Friday buried 18 victims, most of them civilians, including Mushira and her father, who were killed when Iranian-backed Houthi militias shelled their home on Mount Saber.

Funeral prayers were held at Al-Saeed Mosque in Taiz City, attended by Governor Nabil Shamsan, local officials, military and security leaders, political party representatives, and large crowds of mourners.

Governor Shamsan offered condolences to the victims’ families and wished the wounded a speedy recovery. He said the attacks would only strengthen Taiz residents’ determination to continue the national struggle to liberate the governorate and break the Houthi siege.
