Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramout, Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, stressed the importance of preparing an integrated matrix of priority projects across various service and development sectors, to be compiled and studied during a workshop aimed at identifying the actual needs of districts and arranging priorities in accordance with development requirements and service improvement.

This came during his chairing on Sunday in the city of Al Mukalla an expanded meeting with directors-general of the districts of the Hadramout Coast, to review the conditions of the districts, assess the level of services provided to citizens, and discuss the most prominent problems and challenges facing basic service sectors and infrastructure.

Al-Khanbashi emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the leadership of the local authority in the governorate and the districts, in a manner that contributes to enhancing service performance and improving the level of services provided to citizens.

He stressed the need to intensify efforts to address existing challenges in the sectors of electricity, water, sanitation, roads, cleanliness, health, and education, in addition to other vital sectors that directly affect citizens’ daily lives.
