RIYADH-SABA
The Government of Japan and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have signed an agreement to rehabilitate and activate six technical and vocational training institutes in Aden, Taiz, and Lahj governorates.

The project, valued at approximately $2.5 million, aims to empower Yemeni youth, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), by providing them with vocational training and skills development opportunities.

During a ceremony held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Japanese Ambassador to Yemen, Yoichi NAKASHIMA, and the IOM Representative in Saudi Arabia, Ashraf Al-Nour, signed the agreement.

The project will provide vocational training and skills development for nearly 3,000 beneficiaries, enhancing their employability and prospects for a better future.
