Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak made Saturday an inspection tour of Aden International Airport and its facilities.
He reviewed the level of services provided to citizens and airport users, including travelers.
This came after the arrival of the Prime Minister at Aden International Airport coming from Jeddah, following a brief visit during which he held talks with Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to discuss the prospects of strong fraternal relations between the two countries, bilateral cooperation in various fields, and the available opportunities for their development and advancement.
During his inspection tour of the airport facilities, bin Mubarak listened to the opinions, complaints, and evaluations of citizens regarding the services available at the airport.
He directed the officials to take note of the citizens' observations and suggestions, listen to them, and respond to them seriously.
He also discussed with the airport services officials and employees the ongoing work in it, existing challenges, and the required coordination to enhance the services provided to departures and arrivals at Aden International Airport.
Bin Mubarak issued several directives regarding the improvement and development of services provided to citizens, as well as facilitating the movement of departures and arrivals.
He emphasized the need to find urgent and radical solutions to the obstacles that hinder the provision of comprehensive and exemplary service in this vital facility, which serves as a primary gateway to Aden and Yemen as a whole.
The Prime Minister listened to explanations from airport officials about the work, progress of air navigation operations and the level of services provided to travelers.
He also learned about the efforts made to improve performance, increase flights, enhance services, and facilitate the movement of departures and arrivals at the airport.
