His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alim, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with the Member of the Presidential Council Aidarous al-Zubaidi met today, Tuesday, with the His Majesty King Abdullah II the Monarch of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordon and the Crown Prince of Jordon His Highness Prince al-Hassan bin Abdullah II.

Aspects of Yemeni-Jordanian bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.

The mediation good offices by brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to renew the truce, launch an inclusive political process sponsored by the UN was also touched upon.

President al-Alimi expressed his deep thanks and great gratitude to Jordanian King, government and people for their supportive stances in support of the Yemeni people, its legal leadership and aspirations to restore the state's institutions, security, stability and peace.

The Jordanian Monarch reiterated the keenness of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordon to support Yemen and its national institutions, its openness to all proposals and offer the required support to alleviate the Yemeni people's suffering.
