Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi
The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Republican decrees were issued on Thursday appointing new governors for the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, and Al-Dhalea.

Presidential Decree appoints commanders to joint forces

President of the Republic issued decree numbering 89 for 2019 appointing new commanders to joint military forces.
The first article of the decree appoints General Sagheer bin Aziz a Commander to Joint Military Forces Operations.
The Second Article appoints General Mohsen al-Da'iri an Assistant to the Commander of the Joint Military Forces Operations.
The third and last article of the decree stipulates on validity of the decree since its issuance and to be published in State Gazette and military bulletins.
