The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb underlined the pressing need for substantial international support to bail out the Yemeni national economy which has been facing multiple challenges.

" A substantial international assistance is urgently needed to help the Yemeni economy to recover", Ghalib said.
He voiced his remark during his talks today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Yemen Thomas Friedrich.

Ghalib highly appreciated the German significant contribution to the humanitarian and development actions in Yemen.
" We're deeply grateful to the German government and people for their constant support to Yemen", he said.

Ghalib briefed Friedrich on the CBY's ongoing efforts to manage financial and monetary challenges amid current difficult circumstances the country has been experiencing for years due to the war-triggered by the Iranian-regime backed Terrorist Houthi Militias.

The German Ambassador stated that his country is interested in supporting the programs aimed to boost the economic stability and build the institutional capacities.
