Govt keen to 'rebuild Interior Ministry on national basis'

Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maysari said we are keen to rebuild the Ministry of Interior and its security services on a national basis to achieve security and stability.

In a meeting today with senior security leaders from the Ministry's headquarters and security leaders from different provinces here on Wednesday, al-Maysari said that the ministry is working at a fast pace to rehabilitate the security authorities in all the government-held provinces.

He stressed the importance of the commitment to implement the ministry's programsand plans for upgrading the security work and activating all the ministry's departments to assume their responsibility towards the country.
