VP meets with Al-Jawf's governor

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Sunday with the governor of Al-Jawf province, Maj. General Ameen Ali Al-Akaimi and Commander of the Sixth Military Zone, Maj. General Hashim Al-Ahmar.

The Vice President's conversations with Al-Akaimi and Al-Ahmar touched upon the latest developments relating to the front-lines' battles in the province of Al-Jawaf and the Sixth Military Zone, where the government's troops have been fighting fierce battles against the Iran-backed Houthi militia.

(Lt Gen) Mohession applauded the significant military advancements have been gained in the province, urging further efforts and hard work.

The Vice President was briefed on the concerns and difficulties need to be addressed to help the local authority and military command doing their jobs effectively and achieve the desirable objectives.
