Abyan Governor Discusses Service, Development Interventions with Saudi Program

Governor of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash discussed Sunday with the Director of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen Engineer Mohammed Madkhali service and development projects planned for implementation in Abyan Governorate.

These efforts come within the framework of improving basic services and strengthening the development process in the governorate.

During the meeting, Governor al-Rabbash reviewed Abyan’s needs across several vital sectors led by electricity, water, roads, health, education, agriculture, and fisheries, as well as a number of key projects at the governorate level.

He emphasized that Abyan is witnessing a state of social harmony and broad public consensus in support of maintaining security, stability, and the enforcement of law and order.

The governor also pointed to the support of tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, and prominent figures in Abyan for the efforts of the local authority and security agencies, stressing that this represents a positive message that enhances the climate of stability and paves the way for implementing development and service projects that meet citizens’ needs and contribute to the reconstruction and development of the governorate.

For his part, Engineer Mohammed Madkhali affirmed the program’s commitment to supporting priority vital projects in Abyan Governorate in a way that contributes to improving infrastructure and essential services, while keeping pace with the stability the governorate has recently witnessed.
