Mass Rally in Mocha condemns Iranian attacks on Gulf States
[04/04/2026 07:34]

MOCHA – SABA
The city of Mocha in Taiz Governorate witnessed a massive public rally Saturday in front of the local authority building, with the participation of Hodeidah Governor Dr. Al-Hassan Taher.

The Demonstration denounced the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Participants from the liberated districts along the western coast of Taiz and Hodeidah governorates raised the flags of the Republic of Yemen and GCC member states, along with banners and slogans affirming the unity of destiny between Yemen and its brothers in the Gulf countries.

The statement issued by the rally expressed strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia, GCC countries, and Jordan, considering any threat to their security as a direct attack on Arab national security, with repercussions affecting Yemen and the entire region.

The statement also affirmed that the people of the western coast districts stand united alongside their brothers in the GCC countries in confronting the Iranian escalation, which they described as an extension of Tehran’s aggression against the Yemeni people.

It highlighted the depth of partnership with the Arab Coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, in defending Arab national security, protecting international navigation and countering Iranian expansion in Yemen and the region.

The statement warned against the escalation by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias along the Red Sea coast and their repeated threats to international maritime navigation, stressing that the security of Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea constitutes national and regional constants that cannot be compromised.

It called on residents in areas under Houthi control to reject mobilization and escalation campaigns, warning of the consequences of reckless actions on national security, the economy and supply chains.

The statement also condemned the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners, affirming that the Palestinian cause will remain the central issue of the Arab nation.

Finally, the statement urged the international community to assume its responsibilities in maintaining international peace and security, and to take urgent steps to halt Iranian attacks and ensure regional stability.
