The Bulgarian film "Made in EU", directed by Stefan Komandarev, has received the Critics' Award at the Arras Film Festival in northern France.

The film tells the powerful story of Iva, a seamstress accused of causing a pandemic outbreak in her small town, becoming a scapegoat for a system that exploited her labor for years.

Shot on location in southern Bulgaria, "Made in EU" features a talented cast including Gergana Pletnyova and Ivaylo Hristov, and will premiere in Bulgarian cinemas this Friday.
