Portugal claimed its second UEFA Nations League title after defeating Spain 5-3 in a penalty shootout, following a 2-2 draw after extra time. The match, held in Munich, Germany, saw both teams create scoring opportunities, but it was Portugal's precision in the penalty shootout that ultimately secured the victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo played a crucial role in the win, scoring Portugal's equalizing goal in the 65th minute. He also won the tournament's top scorer award with eight goals.

The Portuguese team's goalkeeper, Diogo Costa, made a key save during the penalty shootout, contributing to the team's success.

With this win, Portugal becomes the first team to win the UEFA Nations League twice, having previously lifted the trophy in 2019.
