Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak convened a meeting with the head of the European Union mission Gabriel Viñales and ambassadors of a number of European Union countries in Aden today.
Discussions focused developments in the national arena, and the government's efforts in the path of reforms and addressing economic and humanitarian challenges, including maintaining the exchange rates of the national currency.
The meeting, with the participation of the ambassadors of France, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, and Greece, reviewed the European and international support required to assist the government in shoring up the rial currency, and containing the impact of stalled oil exports.
