TAIZ - SABA
Chairman of the Negotiation Committee on Opening Roads Abdul Karim Shaiban announced today, Thursday, the opening of the Al-Kamb - Al-Qasr Road, in preparation for the return of connection and freedom of travel between the divided parts of Taiz city back to normal, after 9 years of unjust Houthi siege.
Shaiban said in a press conference, “Today we are pleased to open the Al-Kamb-Al-Qasr road, which has been blocked by the Houthi militia for 9 years and has caused suffering to the people of the [entire Taiz] governorate.”
Shaiban added, "The credit for opening the road goes to the steadfastness and sacrifices of the people of Taiz, as well as the sacrifices of the army heroes and men of the popular resistance during the siege period, leading to breaking this siege that was imposed on the city unjustly and aggressively."
