Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Tokyo, Japan, Adel al-Sunaini met today, Tuesday, with the member of the Japanese Parliament Yamada King to explore more Japanese support for the Yemeni government's efforts to manage economic challenges. .
They conferred over Yemeni-Japanese bilateral relations, developments in Yemen and Japanese contribution to humanitarian actions and development in our country.
Al-Sunaini updated King on the latest developments in Yemen including UN-led peace process, the Yemeni government's efforts to manage the humanitarian challenges and economic hardships and Houthi militias' attacks on the shipping lanes and commercial ships.
Ambassador al-Sunaini praised Japan's supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government's struggle for restoring the state's institutions, appreciating Japan's significant contribution to the humanitarian and relief efforts.
