Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi, took part in the opening session of the Munich Security Conference 2024 on Friday, in the German city of Munich.
President al-Alimi is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the conference in a debate dedicated to Yemen and the situations in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and the required international support to strengthen the Yemeni government to maintain a sovereign hold over its coasts and territorial waters.
The President will also present the developments on the Yemeni scene and the international attempts to revive the peace process and put an end to end to the Houthi caused humanitarian suffering.
The MSC 2024 offers a forum for high-level debates on the world's most pressing security challenges.
