Headship of Consultations and Reconciliation Commission meets with U.S. Ambassador

Chair of the Consultations and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) Mohammed al-Ghaithi along with his Deputies Abdulmalik al-Milhlafi, Sakher al-Wageah, Jamilla Ali Raja and Akram al-Amiri held discussions today, Thursday, with American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.

The conversations dealt with the CRC's tasks, actions and plans as well as the developments in our country and the regional and international efforts to end the conflict, make peace.

The CRC' Headship called on the international and regional community to support the Presidential Leadership Council's efforts to cope with economic and humanitarian challenges.

The American Ambassador confirmed the US Administration's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and Yemeni government.

Mr. Fagin also reiterated his country's support for the UN-led efforts to establish a comprehensive peace through political process.
