Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik chaired a meeting today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden included a number of senior officials of the local authority in the governorate of Hadramoutn.
The meeting aimed to discuss the situations of the basic services, security, development projects and the government's support to sustain the local authority's plans and efforts.
Minister of Finance Salim bin Bureik engaged in the discussions which focused on the pressing needs and challenges that must be addressed urgently to improve basic service, mainly in the electricity sector.
The Prime Minister directed the Ministries in charge to coordinate with leadership of the local authority in Hadramout, double down the efforts to carry out the endorsed services and development projects to improve basic services, particularly in the fields of electricity and water.
