Prime Minister chairs a meeting with the management of the Central Bank of Yemen

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik chaired a meeting today, Saturday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) to review the monastery reforms and the coordination between the financial and monetary policy.

The discussions touched upon the action-plans to deal with the decline of the public revenues due to the Houthi militias' terrorist attacks on the oil exports seaports.

The Governor of the CBY Ahmed Ghalib briefed the Prime Minister about the agenda of the Fifth Session of the CBY's Board of Directors which started last Wednesday.

Ghalib also pointed out to the illegal destructive measures have been taken by Houthi militias, in the militia-controlled regions in the financial and banking sector, citing the CBY's plans to deal with.

The Prime Minister confirmed the government's support for the CBY's efforts and independence in line with the legislations and laws in effects.
