RIYADH-SABA
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Wednesday Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yemen Richard Oppenheim discussing with him mutual relations between the two countries and reviving political process in Yemen.

The meeting touched upon latest developments on the light of current developments in peace track and efforts of Saudi brothers to realize the truce, announcing sustainable halt to the war and finalizing process of exchanging prisoners in preparations for inclusive Yemeni dialogue under the UN.

President al-Alimi reminded of government's initiatives for peace and alleviating suffering of people, including handing over salaries of civil servants of education and health sectors in areas under control of Houthi militia before its unilateral measures of seizing revenues of oil derivatives deposited in the Central Bank of Yemen and banning dealing with new banknotes.

The meeting confirmed significance of integrating all efforts for pushing the militia to interact positively with efforts of Saudi brothers and international community and resorting to inclusive political process under the UN.
