President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and his deputies have met with Prince Khaled bin Salman, Minister of Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, also attended by Yemen's Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik, discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, developments in the Yemeni situation, and the path of economic and service reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, with the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regional allies, and international partners.
They also reviewed the progress of efforts exerted to revive peace through a comprehensive political process under the auspices of the United Nations, which aim to end the human suffering and restore security, stability and development in the country.
The chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the members of the Council, highly valued the Kingdom's stances on the side of the Yemeni people, including its initiatives and continuous efforts to end the war and bring about peace, and its generous humanitarian interventions in various fields.
For his part, Prince Khaled bin Salman affirmed the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support Yemen and its political leadership, and to achieve the aspirations of its people for peace, security and stability.
