The United States of America and the United Kingdom denounced the recent escalation of the Houthi militia in the governorates of Taiz, Marib and Shabwa, which led to deaths and injuries.

The US embassy in Yemen said in a statement the US condemns the recent Houthi escalation in Taiz and Marib, which led to deaths, stressing the need for the Houthis to stop exacerbating the suffering of Yemenis and support a peaceful solution to the conflict, expressing condolences to the families of the victims.
