The Presidential Leadership Council held a session today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of the Council's members Sultan al-Eradah, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Jujalli, and Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh and Abdurhman al-Mahrami contributed to the discussions via video conference, while Faraj al-Bahssani did not show up for sounded reason. Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik was in attendance.
President al-Alimi presented an overview about his meeting with the Crown Prince, Prime Minister in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Member of the Council Othman Mujalli reported to the Council about his participation along with the Yemeni delegation to the UN Fifth Conference on the Least Developed Countries, held recently in the Qatari capital Doha.
The Council elaborately discussed the economic and financial situations in view of reports provided by the Council's member Abdurhman al-Mahrami about the mechanisms and policies of managing taxes and customs returns.
The Presidential Leadership Council stressed on firmly implementing the administrative and structural reforms in the financial system to enable the government to fulfill its obligations in the areas of services, humanitarian interventions and development.
