Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik has received the international president of Doctors Without Borders (MSF), Christos Christo, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the interim capital, Aden.
The Prime Minister was informed by Christo about the nature of his visit to Yemen, which is his first in his capacity as the international head of MSF, to see the organization's projects in various Yemeni governorates, and to get acquainted closely with the health and humanitarian needs in Yemen.
The meeting discussed the activities of Doctors Without Borders in Yemen and the facilities provided by the Yemeni government to the organization to enhance these activities.
The Prime Minister expressed the appreciation of the government and the Yemeni people for the efforts and activities of Doctors Without Borders in facing the humanitarian crisis that Yemen is experiencing as a result of the Houthi coup, stressing the government's keenness to facilitate any procedures and remove any obstacles that affect the performance of the organization's work in the various governorates.
