Yemen participated in the meeting of the Arab Council of Ministers for Communications and Information held today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with a delegation headed by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Najeeb Al-Awaj.
The meeting approved the results of the seventh meeting of the Arab Permanent Committee for Post, and the fiftieth meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Communications and Information, and an emphasis on urging Arab countries to provide financial and moral support to the Yemeni Post to help it overcome the difficulties it is facing in the current period.
The Arab Ministers of Communications and Information also agreed to form the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Communications and Information, to nominate the city of Jerusalem to be the Arab Digital Capital for the year 2023 AD, and to adopt the Arab Strategy for Communications and Information.
