Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak held discussions today, Saturday, with the Charged Affairs of the Russian embassy in Yemen.
Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations was key focus of the conversations.
The talks touched upon the developments in the Yemeni national arena amid Houthi militias' intransigence and insistence on blocking the efforts to make peace.
BinMubarak blamed Houthi militias for rejecting to come to peace, paying no attention to the humanitarian situation, deliberately seeking to further worsening it.
He also hold the Houthi militia responsible for blocking the efforts to handle Safer Oil Tanker's problem saying this is an environmental issue that the world should not tolerate the militia's intentionally acting to keep the tanker as a looming environmental, humanitarian and economic menace.
The Russian diplomat reiterated his country's keenness to promote its relations with Yemen. He stated that Russia will continue to do everything possible to help achieving peace, re-establish security and stability.
