The President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received today in the capital, Khartoum, Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan.
The head of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council stressed the importance of further rapprochement between Arab and regional countries, hoping that the visit would achieve the hoped-for role in enhancing the security of the two brotherly countries.
The Minister of Interior conveyed to the President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council the greetings of his brother, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, praising Sudan’s cooperation and sacrifices in deterring the Houthi militias and the Persian tide and its important role with the brothers in the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a related context, the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, on the sidelines of his visit to Khartoum, discussed with his Sudanese counterpart, the first human rights police Lieutenant-General Anan Hamid Mohamed Omar, a number of security issues between the two countries and ways to enhance security cooperation in the fight against terrorism, organized crime and maritime piracy.
The session of talks was attended by the Yemeni Ambassador to Sudan Omar Al-Madawi, the Inspector General Major General Dr. Fayez Ghallab, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Interior for the Security and Police Sector Major General Muhammad Al-Amir, the Civil Services Sector Major General Abdul Majid, Human and Financial Resources Major General Abdullah Jaber, and General Managers, Combating Terrorism and Crime and others.
