The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Aden Governorate, Badr Muawon, discussed with the Deputy Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Aden, Muhammad Rafiq, and the field supervisor of the High Commissioner in Aden, Muammar Alwan, the tasks by the Commission in various humanitarian aspects in the governorate.
The local secretary general of Aden touched on the problems of immigrants from the countries of the Horn of Africa and the efforts made by the government and the local authority in the governorate, in coordination with the UNHCR, to address their conditions, provide the necessary support and provide various humanitarian services.
As well as the emergency humanitarian support for the implementation of sustainable projects for the necessary services to face the increasing pressure on the host communities as a result of receiving the displaced people affected by the war.
