The Steering Committee of the Livelihoods Development Project held its meeting today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, headed by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badheeb, to discuss a number of issues related to the project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Global Environment Fund.
In the meeting, which included the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem Al-Socotri, the Resident Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Yemen, Hussein Jadin, and the representative of the Social Fund for Development Mahmoud Salam, Dr. Waed Badeeb praised the continued support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for Yemen.
Pointing out that the Fund has been a major partner for more than three decades, especially in the field of agriculture, food security and livelihood enhancement. .
