Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) His Excellency Dr. Rashad al-Alimi headed today, Sunday, to New York to participate in the UN General Assembly's sessions, after he concluded several day-state visit the Federal Republic of Germany.
His trip to Berlin aimed to mobilize international efforts to allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering and achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
Upon his departure Berlin airport the Chairman of the PLC voiced thanks to the German hospitality, praised Yemen-German distinguished relations, appreciating the friends Germans' support for legality in Yemen and the efforts aiming to revive political process, eliminate Iran-backed Houthi militias' coup.
He expressed his confidence that this visit will further boost Yemeni-German bilateral cooperation to serve the mutual interests of the two friendly peoples.
The President is accompanied by Director of the Republic Presidency Office Dr. Yahya Ashua'ibi and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak.
