Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Hussein discussed Monday with the Communication Officer of ADRA al-Khadher Nasser interventions of the organization in Abyan.
The organization's representative provided details on emergency interventions of the organization through emergency intervention project implemented by the organization in the period between the 1st of June 2022 to the 31st of May 2023 in districts of Zunjubar, Khanfar, Sarar and Ahwar.
The project aims at reducing problems of the food security through providing food assistances and providing water and sanitation services in addition to basic hygiene financed by USAID and targets displaced families and hosting community, which suffer from malnutrition and have disabled persons.
On the other hand, Governor of Abyan was acquainted by CARE's team headed by Engineer Eskander Bashuraima, the Coordinator of the organization, with interventions of CARE International in field of irrigation, especially in Wadi Hassan and Bana'a in the districts of Zunjubar and Khanfar in the framework of the fifth project of cash for work.
In health field, the team mentioned that the organization will build three additional rooms in the health unit in Tariah area Zunjubar for taking care of pregnant women and delivery section with building a fence to the health unit there.
