Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik has discussed with US Envoy to Yemen Tim Lenderking latest developments in Yemen under Houthi militia's continuous breaches of the UN truce and not abiding by it.
In a telephone call with the US envoy on Wednesday, prime minister discussed mutual relations between the two countries and US support to the Presidential Leadership Council, political transfer and support to the government for implementing reforms.
Prime minister renewed government's keenness on abiding by the UN truce and implementing its commitments, demanding UN pressure on Houthi militia to implement what has been agreed upon.
He confirmed government's keenness on making the truce successful.
For his part, the US envoy renewed support to Yemen and support to the political transfer in Yemen and government's efforts to implement economic reforms.
He confirmed his country's keenness on making the humanitarian truce successful and support to the UN, regional and international efforts to reach a political solution in Yemen.
