Head of Presidential Council phones Chief of Staff

The Head of the Presidential Council Leadership Rashad al-Alimi phoned Friday the Chief of Staff, the Commander of the Joint Military Operations, General Lieutenant Sagheer bin Aziz on the ongoing military operations in different warfronts.

President al-Alimi was briefed by bin Aziz on the ongoing military operations in all warfronts and commitment of the national army of ceasefire in implementation to the humanitarian truce announced by the UN Envoy for Yemen, in addition to Houthi militia's violations to the truce in warfronts of Marib, Jawf, Sa'adah, Hajjah, Hodeida and Taiz.

The president confirmed that the current phase is exceptional and critical and requires integration of all efforts for realizing Yemeni people aspirations of unified and stable Yemen.

He stressed importance of building the army on the bases of national foundations away of favoritism and narrow loyalties for the sake of embodying the integrity of one homeland in every military unit, praising efforts of the ministry of defense and General Staff Academy in building, qualifying and training the national army.
