His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, departed today, Friday, from the interim capital, Aden, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold consultations with regional and international actors regarding the latest developments in the local situation, particularly the recent events in the eastern governorates.

Matrix of humanitarian needs for Taiz discussed

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation's Taiz Office and Care International organized Monday a workshop to review interventions of partners of humanitarian work in Taiz Province for 2021 and the matrix of humanitarian needs for this year.

Director of Taiz Planning Office Nabil Gamel touched upon the humanitarian situation and the amount of the interventions made by international organization during the past two years, especially interventions of Care International, pointing out to deterioration of humanitarian situation over Houthi militia's continuous siege on the province.

For his part, Representative of Care International Abdulhakim Shamsan reviewed interventions of the organization during the past few years and included different service fields.

The workshop reviewed the matrix of humanitarian needs for 2022, which reached more than 400 projects included service and developmental sectors.
