The head of the executive unit for managing the camps for the displaced, Najeeb Al-Saadi, discussed today in the temporary capital Aden with a delegation from the European Union and representatives from European donors, the conditions of the camps for the displaced and humanitarian interventions.
During a tour in IDPs camps in Aden, the delegation was briefed on the conditions of the displaced, their needs and the difficult humanitarian conditions experienced by the displaced due to the current conditions in the country.
Al-Saadi stressed the importance of joint work between the government and donors, and the need to involve them in the humanitarian process..
He pointed to the need to work on lasting solutions, work through state institutions, and support them to be able to play their role in providing basic services to the displaced and the host community.
