The Saudi Cabinet renewed the Kingdom's rejection and condemnation of the attacks launched by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia on civilian objects and vital installations in the Kingdom and the UAE and international shipping lanes in the Red Sea.
In a session held today, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Council noted that these crimes threaten the security and stability of the region, stressing the urgent need for the international community to act, especially the Security Council, to put an end to this aggressive behavior in a manner that preserves International peace and security.
The Council drew attention to the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, to support the Yemeni people in various aspects, and through programs and projects implemented in partnership with international organizations to advance vital sectors, raise the level of services provided, and provide needs and conditions that support development.
