The Customs Authority participated in the extraordinary meeting of the directors-general of the customs authorities of Arab countries, to discuss some final notes on the customs transit agreement between Arab countries.
The virtual meeting, held with the participation of the Director General of Relations, Cooperation and International Eng. Fadl Al-Ban, and the Director General of Exemptions and Temporary Admission Abdullah Al-Habashi at the Customs Authority, touched on customs transit procedures and their facilitation between Arab countries and what the Arab countries would like to include in the agreement.
The participants agreed to assign the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States to present the agreement in its current form to the Economic Council of the League of Arab States for approval or amendment, and to hold the forty-second meeting of Arab Customs directors by attendance in peson at the end of next February.
