The Ministry of Public Health and Population received a quantity of Johnson & Johnson and Sinovac vaccines against the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), granted by a number of donors through the Kovacs Committee.
Deputy Health Minister for the Primary Health Care Sector Dr. Ali Al-Walidy told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the ministry has received, today, more than one million and two hundred thousand doses of vaccine including 800 thousand and 808 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine provided by the United States of America, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, France and Slovakia, and 400,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine are provided through (Kovax), which enters the country for the first time.
Dr. Al-Waleedi confirmed the safety of the vaccine, which is used in a number of countries in the world, and has been approved by the World Health Organization, praising the support provided to our country by donor countries.
