Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Muhammad Beheibeh, discussed today in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the Deputy Head of the European Union Mission to Yemen, and the Head of the Cooperation Department of the mission the distinguished relations between our country and the European Union and ways to promote them.
The meeting discussed areas of European support for the health sector in our country and the existing projects funded by the Union, reviewing the work implemented in the Covid-19 project and the urgent needs for it to complete the tasks set before it.
The Minister praised the European support for the health sector, noting the need to double this support, especially in light of the current circumstances the country is going through and the urgent needs to strengthen the current health system and move it towards recovery for the service of the Yemeni people.
