Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik presided over a session included governor of Abyan Abu Baker Hussein and local authority leadership.

The meeting intended to discuss pressing needs in basic services and local authority's plans and efforts to meet and government's assistance in this regard.

The governor reported to the PM about the challenges facing the local authority in different fields, citing its plans aimed to deal with, asking government's support.

Dr. Ma'een ordered practical measures to get 1 30 MGW Power station project accomplished, repairing Batis road and several other projects.
